We want everyone in Charnwood to hear the good news about Jesus in a meaningful way. So we work hard to find ways to reach out to every community group with this news. We aim to do this in a friendly, non-pushy manner so that people can make up their own minds about Jesus.
I want to know more about this good news.
We are convinced that helping others to follow Jesus is the best long-term way to foster a stable, peaceful and healthy society.

We work with local partners (see sidebar) to tackle social issues, building and running sustainable projects that will have a long-term positive impact in our community. We also work with other churches to achieve this.
We are proud to be key sponsors of Charnwood 20:20 , a local charity involved in several projects in our community. Several members of King's Church are involved in running and staffing Charnwood 20:20 projects.

A pre-school nursery, based at the Schofield Centre, with separate and fully-equipped facilities for birth to 2 years, 2-3 years, and 3-5 years. SWC achieves very good Ofsted reports, is locally recognised as one of the leading nursery schools in the area and provides high quality care and development. |

The Energize Lifeskills project is part of the national Government-sponsored e2e scheme, which provides help with entry to employment, education and training for 16-19 year-olds. Since opening six years ago, over 140 young people have been on the programme, and several have won regional awards for their progress. |

A parent and toddler group for 0-4 years. Playtime runs during school term time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am - 11:30am, and provides much-needed support for dozens of local families. |

Devoted is an a-cappella gospel choir - a bunch of people who simply love to worship God with their singing voices. From street work to prison outreach, Devoted brings God's light to our community. |

OpporTINity is a food parcel scheme helping people in need or who are facing a major life change and could benefit from a donation of food. Each week, parcels are assembled from donated food and delivered throughout Loughborough, providing valuable help to many families. |
We are helping to change society not just here in Charnwood but in other parts of the world too.
We have links with other churches and can use these to ensure that 100% of our emergency aid (for example, to villages in Sri Lanka which were hit by the 2004 tsunami) reaches those who need it most.
Rainbow Africa, a charity offering education and support to children and their families in Livingstone, Zambia, is run from the Schofield Centre and is changing lives across that region.
We also support Help International, a charity providing relief aid and establishing support for farmers and local businesses in some of the world's poorest places.
We have close links with Grace Gospel Church in Bangalore, India and are supporting them with building and running an orphanage and refuge centre.
