What type of church are you?
We are a vibrant church with people from all ages and from several different ethnic backgrounds. We are not part of a particular denomination, though we work in partnership with other church congregations in Loughborough and with a group of worldwide congregations called Together.
King's Church welcomes everyone to come and meet God for yourself. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been going to church for a long time, or if you’ve never visited a church before. We'll do our best to make you feel welcome, and our meetings reflect this. Friendly people, authentic worship, and challenging content combine with a warm atmosphere. We are confident that you will experience God's love when you're with us.
Who are the leaders?
We work with a leadership structure which includes:
- Cell leaders who look after the Cell Groups that meet midweek.
- Overseers who each oversee a number of Cell Group leaders.
- Elders who manage the church and provide spiritual direction; and
- Apostles who oversee a number of churches and help the elders in their role.

What do you stand for?
Like millions of others, we believe that:
- God is bigger and better and closer than we can imagine.
- The Bible is God’s perfect guidebook for living.
- Jesus is God showing himself to us.
- God made everything and is in charge of everything.
- Following Jesus is the only way to have a relationship with God.
- Trusting and obeying Jesus is the only way to grow in our relationship with God.
- God lives in and through us now if we decide to live God's way.
- God has allowed evil to provide us with a choice, God can bring good even out of evil events and God promises victory over evil to those who choose him.
- Heaven and hell are real places. Death is a beginning, not the end.
- The church is here to help people like Jesus helped people.
- Jesus is coming again and will put everything right.

What's your hidden agenda?
Our church exists for a reason. We enjoy spending time together and meeting new people, but the central focus is on a relationship with Jesus Christ. There’s something incredible that happens when a person asks Jesus to come into their life. You can see hope in their eyes, and a difference in their heart. We’d like everyone to experience that same hope.
At King's Church, we don’t use pressure tactics, and there’s no secret agenda. We just want to see people experience the love of Jesus Christ. It’s our desire to see people make that choice for themselves.
